Hello -

Depending on what version of Spyware Doctor you have, it should be something like this

Please deactivate Spyware Doctor, as it may hinder the removal of some entries
  • Right Click the Spyware Doctor icon in the System Tray.
  • Select Shutdown
  • Click OK, and restart your machine to fully shut down Spyware Doctor

You can reenable it once your system is clean.

Please deactivate Spyware Doctor's OnGuard Tools as it may hinder the removal of some entries
  • Click the Spyware Doctor icon in the System Tray.
  • Click Settings.
  • Click Startup Settings under Pick a Category.
  • Uncheck "Run at Windows startup".
  • Click Apply and Exit Spyware Doctor.
  • From within Spyware Doctor, click the "OnGuard" button on the left side.
  • Uncheck "Activate OnGuard".
  • (When we are done, you can reenable Spyware Doctor)

You can reenable it once your system is clean.
