[SOLVED] CD ROM Drives won't read insall disks but read other disks fine

Hi.

Computer:
Dell Dimension 3000
One CD-ROM drive - Read (D:)
One CD-ROM drive - Read/Write (E:)

Problem:
In a nutshell, both of the CD-ROM drives can't see setup/install disks but can see everything else. If I put in a professional audio cd, it works fine. If I put in a home-made cd with lots of folders and mp3 files, it works. But if I put in a professional setup/install disk for Office 2007 or Dreamweaver, it doesn't even recognize that a cd is in the drive. In "my computer", the hardware section sees the drives and shows that they are functioning properly. The "eject" function ejects the drive with no problem. But I can't install Office 2007 because it recognize that a cd is in the drive. If I try to "explore", it says "Please insert disk in drive D:". Typing D:Setup.exe doesn't work either. This happens for both my D: and E: drives.

Thanks,
Mike
