clyde 123: yup, DHCP is turned on.

johnwill: i have done as per ur instructions, but the wireless still refuses to work. when i have accessed the router page, the main page says that the router is ready to connect but there is no PPP network or something to that effect. don't know if it is worth mentioning or not.

and when i am directly connected to the modem instead of via the router, the status of the local area connection is of limited connectivity, but the speed of the internet seems to be normal.
