First of all I am sorry if this query has been posted for the nth time, but I really do need some help/advice concerning my rig. As the title goes my computer suddenly dies on me for no apparent reason. Sometimes my PC would go on for days without any problems, yet, there are times, like today, when my computer dies on me once to three times in a row. Usually the series of blackouts happen when I am playing online games. The computer will suddenly die and when I turn the power back on it will only show the graphic card i am using and won't POST, so I have to turn it off and on once again. The second and third "death" happens when I try to open any application after a successful reboot, though, there were times when it dies during startup.

Here's my rig:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 OC'd to 2.8Ghz
Zalman CNPS7000C-Alcu cooler
MSI G31-VM Motherboard
2 x 1 Gb Samsung DDR2-800
Nvidia 8400GS
Western Digital 250 Gb Harddisk
450 watts PSU

Is the power supply the reason? Should I buy one with a higher wattage? Or can it be any other part? Please help me...
