Can't Print from a Netbook

I have an HP 2140 Netbook. It has an odd screen resolution of 1024x576. This is the highest resolution I can get on the machine. I am trying to print/scan from an HP C4280 All-In-One printer. I've been to HP's download site for the needed C4280 drivers, but when I run the installation wizard, it stops mid-installation becuase to proceed any further requires a minimum screen relolution of 800x600. Any ideas on some sort of work-around that will enable me to get the drivers I need installed onto the HP 2140 Netbook so I can print or scan documents?
