I have an Acer Aspire 3750z laptop. I'm trying to add my wireless HP OfficeJet J6480 to it and can't. I've done it successfully with my Sony Vaio laptop.

When I go into printer setting, normally, there's something there IE. Microsoft Document printer or whatever. Well on my laptop, there's nothing there.

So I "Add printer" and it says the following, "Windows can't open Add Printer. The local print spooler service is not running. Please restart the spooler or restart the machine".

Well I've restarted the laptop and the same thing happens.

Does anyone know what this "Spooler" is? How do I restart it? I can't get by this error message.
