Switching from Digital Audio Interface to Speakers?

Hey all,

I have had the following problem for a while. Whenever I changed my settings in my Creative Console, it didn't do anything. I could turn on my 3d effects but it didn't change anything, re-installed drivers, etc.
What I found out just now, is that my soundcard plays 90% of the things via Digital Audio Interface and just a few via Speakers. Only the things that are played via Speakers "feel the effect" of me changing things in my Console. Because I was on Skype just now, and I tryed again, and all of a sudden my Skype conversation audio DID change, but my Windows Media Player didn't (Skype is on Speakers, WMP is on Digital Audio Interface).

Is there any way to make Windows play my applications via Speakers instead of Digital Audio Interface? My sound card is an Xfi Xtreme Audio.

Thanks!
