DNS forwarding

Okay, I rebuilt our Domain Server last year, and set it up as a DNS server, but did not yet have a website up and running at the time, now I do. How do I set up my DNS server so that it, or any of the client machines under it, can access our website from the LAN. The Domain controller is the root. I do not have a (.) root folder in the DNS stucture, (that I see). DO I need to set up forwarders to my ISP's IP addresses? If so, how?

Thanks
