First time poster here.

Anyways, theres an issue with my wired microsoft microphone. I can speak and others can hear me, but I can't hear others. My options and everything is set normally, no parental controls or any of that. I can see when they speak (the microphone picture) but I can't hear them. If I move around the wire where it goes into the controller I can hear them every few moments. I know this has something to do with my microphone, but I'm not sure what, since I can hear clearly through the tv if I have it out, and with my brother's mic.

Does anyone know if I can fix this or is it time to buy a new one?
