Tenda / Railink USB wifi adaptor not working in Jaunty

Hi all,

I have a PcSpecialst laptop running Ubuntu 9.04. I have been having issues with the built in Atheros card so I gave up. I have tried a Sitecom USB wifi adaptor which works fine with my PC running XP SP3, but it failed to connect to the wireless network. I bought a Tenda wireless N USB adaptor in for it which yesterday managed to browse the network, albeit very slowly. Today I plugged it in before the OS had started and hasn't bee recognised at all. I am currently connected using an ethernet cable so I do have an internet connection.

The output from lsusb says there is a 2870 Ralink Technology, Corp. attached to one of the ports.

I have used Ndiswrapper to install the windows drivers for the device, but this didn't seem to do anything.

Thanks in advance for any help.
