What is so threatening about this? Did they say they would attack the United states? Or did they say they would retatliate if the United states decides to mount another unprovoked invasion of a sovreign country to steal its resources and pit its population in a civil war that benefits its geopolitical interests?
Is it cause they are threatening you that they will defend themselves when attacked that you find unacceptable?

The A-bombs work. If Iraq had some, the US army wouldn't have dared step foot into the iraqi borders, and half a million innocent lives would have been saved.
