hrmmm ok, thanks for the reply.
so if i have set a static (working: hence my current internet connection) IP adress under network connections, then the router should be using the IP and other details that are listed under DHCP server in my routers menu?

if that true then i am still confused as the IP displayed under DHCP server is different from the IP displayed under connection details (the "home" page of my router)

also: im assuming the goal is to get the IP detailed under the routers connection page to stay the same, and perhaps be the same as the one inputted under network connections? dhcp server?

at the moment ips under dhcp/connection/network connections are all different
