PC will not turn on at all

I left my computer on last night, and when I woke up this morning, it had shut itself off. I tried to turn it back on, but absolutely nothing happened. Naturally, I checked all wire connections but to no avail.

I would assume the problem is the power supply, but there is a green light on the motherboard which still lights up, and when I unplug the power the supply, my speakers pop a little, indicated that they're power was cut. I am unsure of how to proceed now.
