Re: Boot issue

i fixed it myself i edited /boot/grub/menu.lst and commented out the one that wasn't loading correctly
i have had ubuntu cd for a while now i installed it when i got it but my hard drive died when i got a virus on windows it destroyed my whole hard drive so i had to get a new one the other day i reinstalled it again and got rid of windows to use ubuntu as my main os

now i am having problems with my graphics card ubuntu wont detect it every time i restart my computer it tells my its gone into low graphic mode and it didn't detect my monitor or my graphics card i select my graphics card from the list but when i click test the screen shows lines across the screen but when i click ok it works fine but i am stuck in 800x600 mode which is a pain in the ***
i uninstalled all the drivers and installed envy and installed the drivers from there but still have the same problem i think i will just stick with 6.06

Thanks for all your help anyway
