I have done more research but all that has turned up is either software that must be purchased, or editing the registry.
Is there any way to correct the problem without going either of these routes?
I hate to put any more money into this 5 year old computer, and I would hate to mess up the registry at the same time.
I have hit a dead end.
Does anybody have a fix for this? If it comes right down to it, I do feel confident editing the registry provided I have step by step instructions.
