This appears to be a video issue, but I'm also concerned about the reference to memory errors.
Some random suggestions for the time that you're waiting for a reply:
- try another monitor plugged into the plug on the side/back of the system
- find the exact model number of your Dell (I'm wondering about the nVidia solder issues)
- blow out the case with canned air (don't use a compressor or a vacuum, it'll cause damage)
- try a bootable hard drive diagnostic (instructions here:

- try a bootable memory diagnostic (instructions here:
