Unable to boot from SATA Optical drive
Hello,
please help me cause this is driving me insane.
Ever since I've had my set up, I've been unable to boot from the sata optical drive.
It works fine under windows, but there's no option to boot from it in either the bios or boot menu.
I used to have a secondary ide optical drive for this purpose, but having changed my set up to include another hard drive, i no longer have enough power cables on my PSU to include the ide drive.
I really don't want to have to open up my pc and add the ide drive/disconnect one of the existing drives everytime i want to boot into clonezilla to perform a backup.
My setup is as follows:
Athlon XP 2600
MSI KT6 Delta Mobo
80G IDE HD (OS 1)
40G IDE HD (OS 2)
500G SATA HD (Data)
SATA DVD Burner.
I've even tried creating a usb bootable version of clonezilla as a way of getting around the problem but to no avail (despite following all the instructions)
Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated before i resort to drop-kicking the whole thing across the room.
:D
