Maybe an uninteneded keystroke but I have a Fax Monitor dialog box at startup that doesn't want to turn off.

I looked in the control panale and couldn't get a clue.

That's for turning it off.

Elsewhere I'm trying to get fax through modem capability going.

system info for that:

I have two computers on a dsl connection hooked up through a 4 way switch.

I have an old US Robotics fax modem that would be used to send a paperless fax with a program such as WinFax.

Any leads on how to set this up?

As always I rely on techsupportforum for great advice.
