Do this for testing. Insert the CD into another computer and see if you can boot into it, then exit.
Then start windows, create a folder on the desktop and try copying all the files from the CD to it. I just want to see if it copies without any errors. Go to into the event viewer (control panel, administrative tools, event viewer) and look under the system log and see if there are any cd-rom or atapi related errors.

For boot sequence. When removable device is highlighted, what happens when you press enter? Can you pick another device (say CD-ROM?) If so do it. Then press arrow down key and pick the second one to be floppy, and for the last one to be hard drive.
