Overriding Internet Filter Software
Hi,
I have installed on my PC (Win XP SP2) Covenant Eyes internet filter software. My problem is that it can be removed at will, and therefore rendered useless. It is removed through Task Manager and ending processes, then Command Prompt to reset "winsock".
I installed 1st Security Agent to disable Task Manager and Command Prompt (and also the Run command, as that works in place of Command Prompt). That worked well, except that spyware removal software easily reverses the changes made by 1st Security Agent.
Is there a way to disable Task Manager, Command Prompt, Run, so that the user cannot re-enable them? Or is there a way to disable netsh from being able to reset winsock? Thanks in advance.
