I am at work but will provide the exact info when I get home. I don't think its an ISP, modem, or router issue. I only say that because all the other PC's in my home work fine via wired/wireless.

On this particular desktop (a little old), in the network connections window, the PCI card shows up but says "unplugged" even though the cable from the modem to the desktop is plugged in.

ALso I noticed the PCI slot in my desktop is a little different then the tabs on the PCI card but it fits perfectly. Not sure if that makes a difference.
