Can these files/folders be deleted?

I have a File Server with Windows Server 2003. One partition is slowly running out of free disc space and I have removed all temp files and other unneccessary files that I am aware of. Although, I am questionable about the following:
There are 2 separate Windows folders (D:\Windows and D:\Windows.0). Are both of these folders neccessary? If not, then I could free up a lot of space by deleting the one that is not needed. There are also a couple of profiles listed that may be able to be deleted (Andministrator and Administator.0).
There are also some large files associated with Symantec Norton AV, but I may need to post this question separately. But here it goes:
There are a number of *.XDB and *.VDB files that are very large. Can some or all of these files be removed?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
