Help! For some reason, I cannot access certain web pages. It doesn't matter what browser I use or computer (I have a wireless broadband modem which has 2 computers connected to it - both computers have the same problem). I cannot download updates for anti virus or microsoft, but as you can see I am connected because I am on this forum! This started happening for no apparent reason and now I cannot access some really huge sites - (apple.com for one) and it is getting really frustrating. When I type in a web address one of 2 things happen: it takes about 5 minutes to load and then the screen says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage",
other times it takes about the same time and the site comes up as simple html (i think thats what its called) for all the links etc. At first I thought the sites were down but after a day or so it was all a bit coincidental and then other people were loading the pages just fine. If anyone could help that would be great!
