I have and it did not work. The problem appears to be obtaining an IP address from the router as it fails this check. What is strange about it, it is when I tried connecting the PS3 directly to the router with an ethernet cable, it connected straight away with no problems.

It just seems to be connecting wirelessly that's a problem, this would be preferable as given my routers location it won't be possible for me to set up a permanent hard wire connection. I can also rule out signal degradation or anything blocking the connection as my Ps3 is sat mere feet away from the router at the moment with nothing blocking the signal and 100% signal strength.
