I am having issues with the router, and had to get a new beta firmware from Netgear to hopefully fix the issue. The router is a FVG318v2. It has been disconnecting 1-3 times a week. I have had it disconnect once since my new firmware install, but I may or may not have been related to the original issue. The real test will be after the weekend, as every monday when I return, it is disconnected. So there is/was an issue with my router, and that one is being worked on at the moment.

The box is plugged into a bridge with 2 other devices (Printer, Windows XP SP3 Box) The bridge is then connected to the router. I have made an update to the linux computer here just today as well as the firmware to the router 4 days ago. I just tried a few seconds ago to unplug the bridge and replug the bridge and the linux box reconnected automatically. I also restarted the router and it kept its connection. So maybe the updates or the firmware might have fixed it. It almost always has a problem over the weekend. So I will watch it this weekend and if it has a problem I will report again. If it does not, than I will mark it as solved.
