In a two story small business environment, I have an 8 port actiontec R1840 hard-wired router. There are currently 3 empty ports.

I plan on installing a PCI wireless card to one desktop that will become mobile. It will esentially be used as another location to access the POS data for inventory and perhaps an additional register in a retail store environment.

What else do I need in order to add it to the existing hard-wired network? What steps will I need to follow?
