Was wondering what is the max range of Cat V cable when using an HDSL / Pair gain Modem?

Pretty much I have to provide services to a costumer that’s 400meters away from my site. We are using an AN-30 LOS connection right now but it's extremely unreliable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
