Hello and Welcome to TSF,

Run checkdisk:
Start
run
type
cmd
in command prompt
type
chkdsk /r
Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)
type: Y (press enter)
reboot pc so it will run now

Did this fix the problem? if it did not, then simply uninstall the program
through add/remove in control panel
reboot pc
reinstall the program
reboot pc

Does it work now?
