Question BGP prefix with 0 in its as-path

Hi All,

I am having a doubt in BGP behavior, when a peer advertises prefix with 0 in its as-path.

For example:

Prefix : 1.1.1.1
as-path : 1 2 0 3 4

When I googled, AS 0 is reserved and it is not currently used to announce prefixes in the global routing table, nor is it used as a visible transit AS.

I am not able to find what should be the behavior when DUT receives prefix with AS 0 in its as-path. Is there any RFC/Draft which tells what should be the behavior?

Thanks.
