Re: 95 Chev PU / Check Engine light In-Operable & No fuel

Thanks for all the input guys. The only fusable link I know, is the one at the alternator. I checked at the starter like back in the day but, there is only a main power wire for the starter and one for the solinoid.

The truck is for a close friend. We did test run the pump prior to install and all was good. I'm following you pretty good that the one wire going to the ECM is "oil pressure, min 4 lbs". I haven't pulled the tank back down to unhook the pump which seemd the only way I'm gunna get to the connector, it's just such a pain in the a$$. I did however losen the panel under the hood to access the back and also removed the cover on the relay. But, we've tried a couple different relays that I know are good. I also from here have done a couple other things. 1, tried the remote fuel pump prime (it's small & red single wire about 4 inches back in the harness going back toward the engine with a little black cover on it) 2, taken a hot wire to the wire that should be getting +12 close the relay coil (I think is green w/whitw tracer but, I know one of them did close the contacts). So, hypathetically I've tried to force the pump on anyway. Still no noise in the tank.

None of this changes the fact that I still have no SES light or CHECK GUAGES but the "brake'.'ANTI_LOCK", and other red ones do come on for a few seconds. The motor is grounded with the mesh strap, the big black one in the loom that bolts to the back of the head, we at one time cut checking but we now reattached it, and the battery.plus the 2 eyelets on the front that attach to the thermostat housing bolts.>br>
I looked around at a couple yards 2day but I'm pretty sure it's gotta be 5 spd 2wd and 95 cause its the first year of the style and the harness is different from a 94. No relays on the firewall on the pass side. Looks like Advance will order one for somehere between $82 & $122.

P.S. I did check for power at the ecm and have 4 constant hots in various places.
