Port 80 Crash Conundrum
Port 80 Crash Conundrum
I am having an issue with my router (at least I thinks its my router).
Version Info
Belkin
Firmware Version 1.01.03
Boot Version 2.02.00
Hardware F5D8230-4
Serial No. BEL22LK8
Almost all the settings on my router are default, though I have turned off security and firewall, and the wireless is being secured by Mac address alone.
This is my issue:
Whenever one of the wired computers on the network tries to use internet explorer to upload a bunch of pictures into facebook, port 80 crashes as well as the upload process. This means that all the computers wired and wireless are still connected, and the internet still is working, but port 80 does not work for any computer on the network. Everyone can still use world of warcraft, bit torrent, upgrade software, but no one can use firefox or internet explorer to connect.
The router must be reset before this functionality comes back. More over one of the wireless computers has no problem uploaded pictures through firefox, but this computer is probably not uploading the volume that the wired one is.
Does anyone have any idea why this is, or if there is a work around?
