I recently got a A8V-E Deluxe from Cyber Power and out of the box it would not read either of my 3 jumpdrives.
I reloaded XP, updated drivers, deleted usb hub, reloaded.....
I found if I set my USB to 1,1 in the BIOS instead of 2.0 it worked, other wise I get a Device not found when I plug the drives in.
The weird thing is my Game controller, mouse, key board and printer all worked great off of the 2.0 usb.
