good question...

however, some have theorised that with more fans blowing in, the atmosperic pressure changes the magnetism and causes the dust in the air to become charged positively, and makes for more of a dust problem.

as to the question of is this true or not? i have no clue, but it's a general rule i've followed as well.

also, as others have pointed out, there is usually a better result from fans drawing air out of the case. many times a side inlet fan, or front inlet fan can actually raise temps.
