ok ir i tried booting in safe mode a coupla times and everything works fine.but boot normal and right clicks and ie window takes a long time.also looked into msconfig and took out a few entries but i left th antivirus entry on- yet my antivirus is not starting up with windows.even if i ty to manually start antivirus, it just freezes- nothing shows up and after a while it says explorer not responding.couldnt run trend mico housecall- keeps getting error for 'update'
also i noticed that my hard disk's SMART capability is disabled- should i enable it?*dun have a clue what SMART capability does*btw just noticed that i can right click on 'my computer' and it bings up the menu but clicking on any other icon and it takes a lotta time.
