When I first tried Windows 2000 I put it on an AMD K6-2 500 with 96MB of RAM, so your specs are pretty close processor-wise and better memory-wise. I'd get the drivers beforehand if I could, particularly the network or modem ones (that way you can get the rest). Beyond that just get SP4, SP4 rollup, IE6 SP1, WMP9, Windows Installer 3.1, all updates, a popup blocker, a firewall, antivirus, and antispyware, and you should be good to go.
