Hey everyone, I need some help on choosing the correct degree for me. I am going to attend Wayne State University here in Michigan. It's about the 3rd highest-enrollment wise in MI. I haven't finished High School yet but when I do I am hoping to be a Software Engineer.

I'm about 16 so my knowledge is limited. I have some moderated experience in computer, I have built my own computer and am familiar in software as well. Nothing very advanced, such as, I have no coded any programs/scripts. But I do have HTML knowledge.

My question to you is, what type of degree is most widely accepted, what courses should I take, what certs should I take, am I on the right path and do you have any tips?
