I need to crop music from a downloaded video. Please help

Ok so I got myself one of the add-ons for Firefox which allows me to download videos on the web from Youtube, Google etc. I mainly just download videos which have great remixed soundtracks and what not. Anyway, I have the video downloaded so I can listen to the music anytime, but the problem is that I can only watch the videos in a specific video software such as Winamp, Flash player etc. What I want to do is get the sound from these videos and save it as a seperate mp3 or similar audio file so I can put them on a normal CD. Can anyone help please?

Thanks!
