Hi Bil,

If your hard drive is plugged into the primary port and the secondary port is unused then best idea is to use the secondary for the CD. You do not have to load any drivers. Cd would be plugged MS (Master) or CS (Cable Select) depending on what type of IDE cable you have. Windows will pick it up on reboot for reading. If you had a Burner CD then you would also have to load Burner Software.
