Hi, Y'all!

A big hello to everyone from the cold, dreary Deep South! (Gotta love this global warming, eh?) ;-) I found this site quite accidentally, but joined up immediately in order to take care of a small engine problem. But looking around, I found many areas where I need help with different things; but the problem is that my areas of expertise cannot really be utilized here. I hate to be a forum member who just comes and draws knowledge out without being able to turn around and dispense some back in turn. A two way street is always preferable to me than a one way. ;-)

Being mainly a computer tech site, I am at a loss to give anyone help. When the 286 processor and DOS were king, I could have helped immensely... but when Windows and GUI came along, I fell off the bandwagon and my learning curve straightened out into other endeavors.

I do intend to come here regularly, and maybe, just maybe, there will be an area where I can lend a hand here and there but I just haven't found it in my short time here. But I plan on getting some computer issues straightened out along with my small engine conundrum, and hopefully I'll see someone that I can help out as well.

I am looking forward to sticking around for awhile, learning some stuff and having a good time. I really like what I see here so far, a friendly site with good folks doing their best to help one another out. I like that.

Pat
