I'm having this same issue xcept Mine occurs after boot up has already occurred and is going. I will start playing Americas Army and about mid way through a map I will just crash out of it and everything shuts down and comes back on. Once it restarts it gives me the error, "System failed due to overclocking", but im not overclocking anything that I know of. After i hold the power down to shut the pc off i turn it back on and get a "CPU check failed" over and over again until I let my computer just sit there for a few minutes sort of "cooling off" Next thing I know i'll turn it back on and it'll fire right up. I can leave the computer on for 2 days and have Nothing happen like this. Only time it will crash out is when I start playing a game.
I use the Asus Star Ice Cooler and only 1 case fan because if i plug them all up my Power supply will just slow get drained and die out. I'm not exactly sure what all I can due to fix this because im not overclocking. I have updaged the BIOS and updated the drivers to most things such as video card and nics and such but i still get it and only when i start to actually play a game. Any advice on what to do? i have ordered the Antec 550 watt True 24pin PS but have no idea what to do to fix the computer just resetting. Im running at about 45 while playing the game and it just resets on its own.
