New Tablet is lagging

Hi TSF, I recently bought an IBM / Lenovo X41 tablet that had been sitting in a corporate inventory for up to a few years. This ultracompact notebook/tablet was released in 2005 and since the price has really come down to the $300-$400 range. It's not a great tablet by today's standards, but with a 1.5 GHZ P4 Centrino and 1.5 GB of RAM (1 GB added) it shouldn't be as cumbersome as it becomes at some times. I noticed that there are a great deal of active programs, many more than on my desktop pc. Most do not show up individually in msconfig startup and services tab.

Could anyone please take a look at my HJT log and help me identify any programs or processes that I can disable to conserve computing capacity? Every so often (every other day) the system reaches 100% capacity and grinds to a halt, even if I'm just using IE and say Microsoft Word in the foreground. Hope someone can help, Thanks!
