OS: win 2000 pro

cant connect to internet

I have clean installed win 2000 pro on western digital 400 hard drive and everything seems to be working except being able to connect to internet. I checked the computer and found the following after doing IPCONFIG /all, etc: IP routing not enabled, wins proxy not enabled, 3 yellow question marks in device mgr -- ethernet controller, pci simple communication controller, and an unknown. Also a red x is beside NT APM legacy interface node. One place says no modem and another place shows a creative modem blaster. It also says it has a national semiconductor DP83815 10/100 ethernet device. I have comcast internet and it is set to go to www.comcast.net web site. Any help on correcting the problem? email address is oracteague@comcast.net
