Errr... well, I guess I would ask what sort of problem you are experiencing that led you to believe the IRQ's were a problem? I have the A8V board also and have yet to worry about an IRQ setting. Maybe there's a different solution.

IRQ's, in general, can be left to automatically work themselves out without any adverse affects. Which is not at all to imply that you aren't on the right track.. just that knowing the underlying problem might help us to help you.

PS: I am fully in agreement with you on the tech support. I have not had any luck with them so far, though the kind folks here are very knowledgeable and helpful.
