Question Double post -- IRQ problem

Sorry about the Double post, I just notices ASUS has its own little forum.

Good day all,

OK-- Asus is f***ing useless with their tech support (web site hardly ever works, they don't answer tech support requests or e-mails-- are they going bankrupt? Tech support is always the first thing to get the boot when a company is in trouble).

I cannot find anything on my own on how to assign IRQ's, including the manual. Half my devices were assigned IRQ #11 (including Display), so I flipped IRQ #11 to "reserved". The result was superb : half the devices were then assigned IRQ #5.

Q-- How do I specify IRQ's??

Right now it stands like this :

IRQ#

#3 Serial Bus Controller
#14 IDE Controller
#3 USB 1.1 UHCI
#3 USB 1.1 UHCI
#11 USB 1.1 UHCI
#11 USB 1.1 UHCI
#5 USB 2.0 EHCI
#5 Multimedia Device
#11 Display controller
#11 Network controller
#9 ACPI controller

Where are #1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 and up? How do I resolve the problem?

Settings in PCI PnP:

Ressources controlled (AUTO) -- I switched it to manual to try and reserve slot 11 with the above result

Assign IRQ for VGA (enabled)

All IRQ's are assigned to (PCI device).
