My computer will not not go beyond ASUS screen at startup. Please help!

Ok today I turned off my computer using the button instead of a regular shutdown. I did this because I'm kinda impatient and I wanted to restart my computer since a program wasn't working and I thought restarting was the best method. After I turned my computer off I turned it back on and after the ASUS loading screen my monitor just goes black. My computer is still on but my monitor does not read anything. I managed to get into the advanced startup place where you can choose the safe mode. I did this and my computer showed this:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\windows\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe

Following this line was the exact same lines except for they were some .dll files. I'm wondering what is going on since my computer worked fine for like 2 years. Please any and all help is appreciated.
