Sorry, but I'm just not buying this. DSL uses the entire available bandwidth of the line, there is no provision like cable modems to "share" the bandwidth of a single line. DSL is a point-to-point connection with exactly two end points. At the telco CO, there is a 1:1 relationship for your phone line to a connection. There is no way that two DSL modems connect to one phone line and both have a working connection, it plain doesn't work that way, and never has.
