Here's my systray:

Note the icon between the Quiicktime and AVG icons. (Sixth in from the left.)

As you see, it's grayed out with a red "no way" symbol over it. I don't know what it is. I'd like to get rid of it.

Here's what I see when I hover the mouse pointer over it:

Disconnected? Disconnected from what? What's disconnected?

Here's the result of a right click on it:

Okay, I can Exit, but it's back on the next boot. A left click does nothing.

I don't see that it's doing me any great harm. It just bugs me and I'd like it to be gone. I see nothing in the Startup Manager that I cannot account for. Also, Startup Manager shows associated icons (when available) and nothing resembles this blob.

Suggestions?
