The desktop that connects through an ethernet adaptor and can share files and printers with other ethernet connected devises (i.e. external hardware):

It is important to note that ethernet-connected devices can share files with each other; wireless-connected devises can share files with each other. However, ethernet cannot share with wireless unless I disconnect my cable modem and internet connection.

The other devises on my network are an external harddrive and laptop (unfortunately the laptop is at work).
