Re: cd drive is missing in my computer
Start > right click my computer > manage
Click disk management
On the window on the bottom right, find the DVD drive, right click on where it says something like CD-ROM 0, hit change drive letters and paths. Hit change and assign it a letter, then reboot. It may work.
