I lost my dvd drive. it is in the bios. it is not in my computer. It is in the device manager with a yellow exclamation mark. in the properties of the drive it reads (device can not start code 10.) I have tried the hkey filter removal, but there are not any filters listed. I know I have been in the right hkey. I updated the driver and it tell me that it is operating properly. I have also updated windows. A diffirent forum suggested it might be the itunes program. I uninstalled it and nothing changed. I re booted from the ddrive with the os disk yesterday. I beleive this drive is functioning. I is worthless to have a computer without a disk drive. I could sure use some help on this one. I got about 8 hours trying to figure this out.
